The 2015–16 season will be Burton Albion's 66th season in their history and first ever in League One after gaining promotion last season. Along with League One, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, League Cup. They will also compete in the UEFA Europa League for the first time after winning the 2014-15 FA Cup. Due to committments to the UEFA Europa League Albion decided not to play in the Football League Trophy
